On election day, May 13, 2013, the Legal Network for Truthful Elections (Lente) released several guidelines to help Board of Election Inspectors (BEIs), the media, and Filipino voters how to handle automated voting equipment.

The group released the statement on Monday after it received reports of several oversights and discrepancies involving the process of automated voting and the equipment itself.
